Why you should care to end abortion

Many people say to themselves, “Abortion – well, I personally don’t really have an opinion against or for abortion. I think that we should simply live our own lives the best we can. I personally know that there are many arguments against and for abortion, but I really don’t care. It’s all about how you look at things. If we just simply learn to get alone with others and be happy, that’s the best thing for us all.”

If you have this type of mindset, there are only two avenues your mind has taken. Either you are grossly ignorant of the meaning and ramifications of abortion, or the devil is casting a nonchalant shadow of carelessness over your depraved mind. Abortion is murder. To tone down abortion to a personal frivolity is a tacit agreement to a most heinous crime and consequently reduces such a person to an accomplice to a historically enormous atrocity. To feel apathetic toward abortion is identical to feeling apathetic to any other form of historical atrocity, such as the mass slaughter of ethnic groups, such as the Jews that Hitler murdered, or any other innocent group of people that suffered death unjustly at the tyranny of another. If you are the kind who can watch the massacre of innocent people and feel apathetic to their poor circumstances, you are part of the problem and not the solution. You do not value life, innocence nor God’s morality. If you feel that it’s none of your business that babies are murdered through abortion, you imply yourself that you have no business on this earth. When are you going to arise from your deadness, and take a stand for the innocent in life? What kind of values do you have that fail to protect the innocent and cold-bloodedly watch criminals destroy the innocent and helpless in life?

Why do you feel like abortion is a private matter? Abortion is no more a private matter than any other form of murder. Abortion is parent killing child, - criminal money hungry doctor murdering patient. If you have any respect for children and truly value their lives and well being, there is no way you can feel apathetic toward ending their life. Do you not realize that all children regardless of their age, whether in the womb or out the womb, have a soul? When you murder a child in his or her embryonic or fetal physical state, you are sending their soul to heaven or hell with much pain and suffering. One day, you will see this abortion victim, and his or her young death will be damning testimony against the parents and doctors involved in this child’s death.

If you fail to speak against abortion whenever you have the opportunity, you prove yourself worthless for any protection for the innocent. Your values in life have been badly misarranged, or you have no worthwhile values at all.
