Abortion because of rape

Many people support abortion in the cases of rape. Murdering the resultant baby of rape however is worse than the act of rape itself. If anyone should be put to death in the case of rape, it would be the rapists, and not the one who was raped or the baby that gained existence because of the rape.

I would like to point out that there are extremely few cases wherein a woman actually conceives a child out of rape. 99.9% of abortions are not the terminations of babies of rape. The devil has inserted the cases of rape for an abortion as a stumbling block before people who are ignorant that conception rarely ever even occurs in these cases. There are other websites that have extrapolated exact statistical data regarding the precise likelihood of a pregnancy from abortion, and all unanimously project a startling low “probability”. I am not going to go into a lot of detail here, if you need more details visit those websites.

The low chance of pregnancy after rape however is not the prime argument against an abortion. The prime argument against abortion is the same argument against any other murder. Murder or abortions destroy the innocent in life and this is always highly forbidden by God.

People say, “Well how about the emotional trauma women suffer from when they are forced to carry to term a child that was conceived in rape?” There are several arguments I wish to point out in these.
First, I said earlier that very few pregnancies result from rape. From the few hundred of pregnancies that do result yearly from rape, how many of those women have been polled and asked if the resultant child caused them emotional distress and trauma? How much proof is there really that the resultant child does really cause a lot of trauma for most women? I am not saying that the resultant child doesn’t, but I am questioning exactly how much specific proof is there? Or are people simply speculating that the resultant child would cause trauma? There is no room for speculation in this area.
Second, what we DO know does cause emotional trauma are rapists themselves. How does the law handle them? Do they receive the death penalty like the resultant babies may get? For those who believe that rape is such an emotional trauma so as to justify murdering the baby, much more should they believe that the rapist ought to receive the death sentence and not the baby.
Third, if a pregnancy does ensue after a rape, the child is already in existence. People have souls and the soul exist forever. So murdering a baby of rape does not destroy his or her soul, and the mother when she dies will still nevertheless meet her own child that she murdered. This is emotional trauma in and of itself.
Fourth, what is wrong with a woman who conceives a child from rape, and then simply carries the child to term and then offers the child for adoption? Carrying a child to term is far safer than abortion is for the mother and for the baby! This is the best thing for women to do if they are raped by strangers or if they are unable to properly raise the child. There are thousands of people waiting in line to adopt newborns to give them a much better chance in life than an abortion gives the baby.
Fifth, rape is not the only terrible situation wherein babies are conceived. Many babies are conceived in the terrible passions of adultery, or in fornication or in out of wedlock cases. In such cases, a woman has no logical reason to be emotionally traumatized because of a pregnancy, but she should be traumatized that such illicit acts of sexuality were occurring in the first place. In the case of rape, a woman has reason to hate the rapists but not the innocent resultant child. If one wishes to justify abortion whenever the pregnancy is initiated by evil, a huge number, if not the majority of babies today would lose their life, because the only proper order of pregnancy should result from proper marriage, something that is increasingly rare.
Sixth, a mother who chooses an abortion because of rape, has tripled her reasons to be emotionally traumatized. Not only was she raped, she also became a murderer herself, and she consented to allow somebody who carried the title “doctor” murder her own child. She has chosen an awful wrong to try to make a right. She has become MORE guilty than the rapists himself. Rape is something that she couldn’t help ( I am assuming the most innocent situations , which sadly are not majority to be honest), but to become a murderer is something that she perpetrates and it is something that she must live with the rest of her life. Just reminding herself that she is a murderer of her own child, and that her child’s soul is in heaven or hell because of what she did should cause far more emotional trauma than the fact that some criminal raped her.
Seventh, a child of rape is no less competent that any other person. There is never anyway to know just who is being murdered when there is an abortion. This child of rape could grow up to be one of the best people who ever walked the planet.

Some people say, “Well if you were a woman who was raped and became pregnant, then you would see why abortion is necessary.” I think I would see the very opposite. Besides, it is not what we perceived or want, nor should our emotional trauma rule us. God should rule us, and it is God and not me who has said that murder is always wrong.
