Liberty is defined in America as the right for individuals to act as they choose without restraint as long as their actions do not interfere with the equivalent rights of others. These “rights” usually consist of the so-called freedoms such as the freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of the press. But who said that these are true rights? Who said? Philosophers? Political figures? Who has the right to define what true rights are? Only God, the Maker of humans can define what rights humans truly have, and there is no where in God’s Word wherein God says that humans have the freedom of speech, religion and the press. In fact we read that God says we should have no other god besides Him, thereby outlawing religions that worship other gods, and we read that God says that we should not take His name in vain, thereby outlawing freedom of speech. So who says we have the freedom of religion, speech, and press? The founding fathers are not the official spokesmen for the rights of humans. It is highly probable that all the founding fathers are in hell, reaping the penalty of digressing from the command of God. Only the Author of humans can accurately and rightly define the rights that humans have.
Before I go any further, it would be wise if we toss man’s definition of rights and go directly to what God has said that true human rights are. True human rights are defined by God in the Ten Commandments.
1. You shall have no other gods beside Me.
This basically means that God has said that we have the right or rather RESPONSIBILITY to worship Him and Him alone. This implies then that we have the right to live in a nation that outlaws worship to other gods, which only deceive people, and cause dissension. This also implies that we have the right to live in a nation that honors and glorifies God, and does not honor and glorify money, fame, and status, which causes people to seek these vain things inevitably trampling the God given rights of others to get them
2. You shall not make unto yourself any graven image.
This commandment outlines a very similar right to the one above. We have the right to live among people who worship God and God only instead of idols, such as money, houses, cars, trucks, and other worldly possessions. When people worship such vain things instead of God, confusion is bred, and people’s priorities turn to worthless things rather than to the things that truly matter.
3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
This commandment gives humans the right to not hear people using God’s name in vain exclamations. American society is indeed a profane one, and seriously overlooks the rights this commandment yields.
4. Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. Six days shall you labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath day of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work….”
This commandment gives humans the right to have a weekly day of rest in dedication to God. Some critical jobs require people to work seven days a week, but most physically laborious jobs can be suspended so that workers are properly refreshed on the seventh day in honor of God. A desire for a day off weekly in physical rest and dedication to God is a fundamental right of humans.
5. Honor your father and your mother.
Parents who properly rear their children as God has outlined have the right to be honored by their children. This right is violated incessantly in today’s world with unruly and rebellious children who curse and disobey their parents. Children have the right to have siblings who preserve the honor of their parents. This right from God shows that people do not have freedom of speech, which in this case would be any speech that dishonored parents who were properly fulfilling their parental duties.
6. You shall not murder.
All people have the right to life so long as they haven’t violated the commandments of God that God says requires the death penalty. Life is a fundamental right and cannot be legally violated in the sight of God for any reason so long as the person hasn’t committed a death-worthy crime. This right is also violated all the time by abortion, euthanasia, unjustified wars such as the Iraq war, and by the preservation of death worthy murderers who may murder again.
7. You shall not commit adultery.
Where in the constitution is there a right given to us that we have a spouse who does not violate our proper marriage? God has endowed humans with the right to have a spouse who is faithful to us, and to have a spouse who is protected from the lustful eyes of others. This is a very critical right because when this right is overlooked a whole host of problems result, such as envy, jealousy, murder, divorce, hostility and the list goes on. Children from an adulterous relationship also have their rights trampled, and much heart ache is bred.
8. You shall not steal.
God gives humans the right to maintain that which is rightly theirs without anyone having the right to it, and for others to be content with that which is not properly theirs. Insurance companies that overcharge the poor, banks that add interest to the honest among the needy, swindlers, and government which steals money to fund unjust wars such as the war in Iraq, all violate a fundamental right given to humans by God. Billions of instances of peoples’ right to have what is properly theirs is violated daily in the world by people who steal, often because thieves have money or possessions as their god instead of the true God. They thus take that which means the most to them, while neglecting the commandments of God because God is not their God. I say this to show how the first commandment outlines a basic right which is prerequisite to enjoying this eighth commandment against stealing.
9. You shall not bear false witness.
God gives humans the right to have right and true testimony against or for themselves, and to have true witnesses. We have the right to have the truth and not lies. Therefore people who bear false witness and proclaim outlandish views in favor of false prophets and messiahs such as Mohammed are doing society a disservice by violating society’s right to the truth and to true witnesses. Scientists who falsely claim that Darwinian evolution has proof are also violating people’s right to have true witness in regard to creation. People who claim that they were divinely or miraculously healed by some minister today are also bearing false witness of the lies of these ministers. America falsely accused Saddam Hussein of having weapons that he did not have. We can see all the problems that ensued from such false witness. The American injustice system is also an incessant violator of this right. A defense attorney has one motive and that is to persuade jurors that his or her client is innocent or not as bad as the crime makes the client appear, regardless of whether the client is clearly guilty. The prosecutor likewise has the sole motive to prosecute the defendant, even if there isn’t sufficient or credible evidence. In both cases, the American injustice system has false witness inscribed in its process of handling the accused.
10. You shall not covet.
This commandment covers a broad range of rights. It implies that we have the right to have neighbors who are not wishing to take the things that belong to us. We have the right to live in society that is not full of citizens who are greedy to get rich and make a lot of money. We have the right to live in a society that is void of scammers who are coveting our identity or money so as to take advantage of us. We have a right to live in a marriage wherein our spouse is not coveting another person to be his or her partner.
These rights are broad, in that they cover all the possible acts a human can make in the realm of morality. But God also goes into more detail in the book of Leviticus by telling us what rights we have in our relations with others. He informs us here that we have the right to live in a society void of evil such as incest, adultery, bestiality, homosexuality, mediums, spiritists and witches. Some people wish to say that the book of Leviticus outlines laws pertinent only to the nation of Israel. Although there are dietary and ceremonial laws that did indeed apply only to Israel, the laws that God gave that outline what I mentioned above are relevant for the entire world. God is God of the Universe and we read in Leviticus that God called such acts as “abominations” and that God said He destroyed other nations for Israel’s sake (Leviticus 18-24-30 and Leviticus 20:23) because of these very abominations that they practiced. No where do we read that God called violations of the ceremonial laws abominations nor do we read that God destroyed or abhorred other nations because they didn’t keep the dietary laws other than the law that God gave that outlawed eating meat with its blood. This is proof that all nations today should adhere to the rights that God has given humans rather than defining their own.
It is correct to say then that God gives us only the right to be right. He doesn’t give us the right to be wrong. Satan seeks to give people the “freedom” to do evil, but he cannot never bestow a binding right, because all rights must be established by the Creator alone.
You may hear some people saying, “God does not force us to be a Christian.” Such a statement reveals phenomenal ignorance. God has never forced anything, like we humans have to force! The word “force” used in the verb tense, implies a significant resistance or struggle staged against the one who did the forcing. Being a Christian is a literal spiritual birth entirely consummated by God without the recipient cognizant of its precise timing and without the person consenting to it. Saying that God does not force us to be a Christian is tantamount to saying that God does not force us to come into existence in this world. God saves whomever He wishes, just as He brings into existence whomever He wishes. In John 3:8, we read, “The wind bloweth where it wishes and thou hearest the sound thereof, but can not tell whence it cometh and wither it goeth, so is every one that is born of the Spirit.” Everyone who is a true Christian then were saved without them having anything to do with it, and without them ever struggling against their salvation.
Some people then say “Well government cannot force everyone to be Christians.” Again, no government has the capability to save the souls of people and impart true salvation as is required to be a true Christian. Such an action has to be divinely consummated exclusively by God alone. Government cannot punish a person because he or she has not been saved by God, nor exonerate a person who has been saved by God. Instead, God has commanded all governments to punish based on the transgression of His Law, the Ten Commandments. A government that does so isn’t forcing everyone to be Christians, but instead is enforcing the only proper and valid laws over mankind and is doing what government should do in order to maintain righteousness, moral peace and Godly order. A government that tries to force everyone to be Christians can only produce false Christian, which is mostly all we have today. God has never commanded anyone to be a false Christian.
Now let’s look at some of the rights that America claims to give citizens through democracy.
(1) Right to embrace whatever religion or belief you want to. This causes problems.
(2) Right to have freedom of speech. This causes dissension.
(3) Right to have freedom of press. This spreads lies.
(4) Right to peaceably assemble. This causes factions.
(5) Right to have an abortion. This causes mass murder
(6) Right to be a homosexual. This is an abomination and sometimes leads to AIDS
(7) Right to vote. Voting is preposterous game established by man which doesn’t accomplish the righteousness of God, and verdicts instituted via voting have caused numerous problems, murder, and injustice.
(8) Right to the woman to seek equality in everything with men. That causes children to suffer from lack of parental care, and has caused families to break asunder in divorce.
(9) Right to have a trial by jury. The jury system is a game established by man, isn’t from God, and has caused a multitude of people to be placed in prison for crimes they didn’t commit, and has exonerated a multitude of proven criminals who have even confessed their crime. Trial by jury causes injustice.
(10) Right to not be tried again for the same offense if initially proclaimed innocent (Amendment 5 of the constitution). This allows criminals to escape punishment if they are later proven guilty and even if they confess and boast about their crime. This is surely not a God-given right, but a right the devil said people have, and has harmed many victims of crimes, and the society as a whole.
I can elaborate as long as history wherein case after case after case has proven that the so-called rights that man or the devil has concocted in the American constitution through democracy has caused mass murder, mass dissension and controversy, wars, immorality, injustice, and family breakdowns. Observe all the violence, cursing, and profanity that is in American media, especially in the entertainment industry that corrupted the world, and has convinced especially the younger generation that it is ok to be wacky, vain, profane, immoral, rebellious, without self-control, reckless, and wicked. Observe all the problems false religions have caused such as the Davidian cult, scientology, Jehovah’s witness, false Christianity, Muslim extremist, among a host of others, wherein people have been led astray with lies, often deceived out of their money because of false teaching, such as church tithing, and even deceived into taking their own lives or ending the lives of the innocent because of adherence to their vain and worthless ideology. Observe the millions and millions of innocent children who are murdered through abortion, all because of a man-made or satanic democracy, through voting, according to the constitution and without God. Observe all the heart-ache and injustice and fraud that occurs because of trial by jury which rarely accomplishes justice for the guilty, and always voids whatever justice it does accomplishes by concurrently robbing society of all the money it takes to keep the rotten system going.
There has never been a case wherein when the rights that God gives humans was properly enforced that an innocent person died as a result, a false prophet was let alone to spread his or her lies, a murderer was freed, the innocent was falsely punished, a slanderous book was allowed to deceive, a sexual abomination was allowed to exist so as to spread confusion and disease, a family was broken apart, a morally responsible parent was dishonored by his or her children, or someone was robbed of his or her money or possessions. The rights that humans truly have, as God has defined has never led to any problem with truth, morality, righteousness, nor with any innocent person or society of people. Instead, when man has sought to define his own rights, problems and wars have always been bred, and will continue to be bred.
You have been told you have the right to believe in whatever you wish. You have been told you have the right to speak your mind. You have been told you have the right to publish any idea or ideology you like. You have been told you have the right to have an abortion. You have been told you have the right to be a homosexual. You have been told you have the right to have a trial by jury. YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD A LIE. And there is no wonder, because you have been told all this NOT by God, but by man, or by the devil, - two who have historically proven to pervade lies, and dissension against God. Hell and the Lake of Fire are two places defined as punishment for those who have enjoyed all such man-made or demonic freedoms. When Patrick Henry said, “Give me liberty or give me death.”, if he spoke of the kind of liberty Americans enjoy today and the kind of liberty outlined in the constitution, his choices were obvious. He got them BOTH. Man-made liberty outside the liberty God gives humans, is artificial, and superficial, and leads to corporal and spiritual death.
Don’t be deceived. Listen to God, and listen to God alone. You have NO right, except to be right. Period.
